Nvidia Sells Jensen Huang Sweaters at GTC for $178

For about $180, you could own a share of Nvidia — or you could buy this Jensen Huang sweater and proudly display your love of Nvidia to the world.

The question is: which will accrue more value in the long term?

Nvidia’s GTC conference has been running this week, and attendees have had the chance to swipe some serious Nvidia swag at the merch stand.

Options include T-shirts, hoodies, hats, bags, mugs, socks, and even pet clothing — much of which is adorned with Nvidia’s signature green branding in a timely match for St. Patrick’s Day.

A sweater with Jensen Huang on the front, apparently riffing on Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bear design, will set you back $178. The so-called ‘TJ Sweater’ features an image of Toy Jensen — an AI-avatar of the Nvidia CEO first introduced during his 2021 GTC keynote.

If you’re willing to part with a bit more cash, an Nvidia-branded Marine Layer puffer jacket costs $198, and a quilted jacket from the same brand costs $148. Why stop there? Complete the set with a $45 hoodie, emblazoned with a stylized humanoid design.

This isn’t the first time Nvidia has rolled out the merch cart. Per PC Mag, it sold a variety of fashion options in Taipei last year, including a shirt covered in Huang heads for around $36.50.

So far, there are no signs that Nvidia is selling Huang’s iconic leather jackets. With prices for those hovering around $9,000, maybe that’s for the best.
