A person has died and nearly two dozen people have fallen ill as part of a Legionnaires’ cluster in Harlem, according to city health officials.The disease was initially detected on on July 25; since that time, one person has died and 22 have been diagnosed, the New York City Health Department said Wednesday.There were no details immediately available regarding the person who died as a result of the illness.Legionnaire’s, a type of pneumonia, is caused by the bacteria Legionella, which grows in warm water. (AP) — Arkansas police charged a 28-year-old schoolteacher in the killing of a married couple who were hiking with their children at Devil’s Den State Park, finding him in a nearby city after a five-day search and public pleas for trailgoers to look through their photos. GitHub Copilot, an AI coding tool offered by Microsoft-owned GitHub, has now reached more than 20 million users, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said on the company’s earnings call Wednesday. Meta is pouring money into the physical and technical infrastructure needed to scale its AI ambitions. Doctors at the National Institutes of Health have discovered a new cause of skin cancer, according to a case report published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine.The culprit is a type of human papillomavirus (HPV) that’s regularly found on the skin.
