Apple is introducing Live Translation, powered by Apple Intelligence, for Messages, FaceTime, and Phone calls.  “Live translation can translate conversation on the fly,” Leslie Ikemoto, Apple’s director of input experience, said Monday during the WWDC 2025 event. A new study published Monday in JAMA Pediatrics found that over 7,000 more children died from firearm-related injuries in the years following a 2010 Supreme Court decision that gave states greater power to set their own gun laws. Apple is launching what it calls the Foundation Models framework, which the company says will let developers tap into its AI models in an offline, on-device fashion. XRobotics thinks it has cracked the code on getting pizza restaurants to adopt robotics. The San Francisco-based robotics company built a countertop robot called xPizza Cube, which is roughly the size of a stackable washing machine, and uses machine learning to apply sauce, cheese and pepperonis to pizza dough.
